Amyra Mah

My name is Amyra (a-Myra, not a-Meera).  I am a spiritual coach, addiction therapist, intuitive counsellor, psychospiritual alchemist and visionary writer.  At the core, I am a Deep Soulworker.  I am passionate about guiding you to find your personal power, spiritual meaning, and a profound sense of comfort within so that you can liberate your true, magnificent self.

I am also the channel for M Y R A S , a source of higher consciousness, imparting sacred knowledge to assist humanity to achieve a revolution of consciousness – rising to higher states of existence while embodied in the physical realm.

I love sharing my “unusual wisdom” and consciousness technologies. Since 2005, I have developed and taught my own highly original and potent sacred systems to a worldwide audience. I have personally, through close facilitations, helped hundreds of spiritual seekers transform their lives from countless afflictions and elevate to higher expressions of themselves.

Amyra Mah Deep Soulworker, Addiction Therapist

Most people find me after having gone through the rounds of conventional and alternative therapies, self-help/self-improvement/healing modalities, mainstream spirituality, holistic healing, etc. – and they are still looking for “something different” that truly works, or that will take them to the next level of their growth and expansion.

As a child, I had experienced seeing that what existed in the physical world wasn’t the full story, and I was connected to the mysterious force that existed beneath it.  But at some point during my childhood, I lost my connection to this force and began to feel trapped in a limited world.  This put me on a lifelong path of finding liberation, where I was challenged to find ways of seeing beyond the physical reality – to find a way out of the illusion of imprisonment.

My road to rediscovering my personal power was long and arduous.  Along the way, I struggled with depression. body image issues, eating disorders and addictions.  Through this, I was tested many times to see beyond the apparent – instead of struggling purely on a superficial level to cope with my inner turmoils and becoming more entrenched in pain and suffering.

Frustrated with not finding a way out through conventional ways, I was driven to find my own source of knowledge.  Eventually, my search for unusual sources of power led me to appreciate the dark and dreaded stuff from which we normally run away as raw material to generate something positive and valuable.

Now I help people find unusual sources of power within themselves and transform their pain, struggles, blocks into personal power.

Where others see a block, a misalignment, a pain – I see potential power.  Guiding people to retrieve their power from these apparent weaknesses so that they rise to their magnificence is what excites me.

I like your blog, exploring a totally different side of the human Psyche. Keep on writing now that you are in a more natural setting and working with really receptive people, I expect to see great things. You battle your demons on behalf of all of us!

Thanks for writing Joshua. Our model for treating addictions is based on healing the deep emotional issues which have resulted in the need for substance use, as well as changing behaviour patterns. For my part of the work, there’s a strong element of spirituality that comes in to tie it all together, creating wholeness and integration for the ex-user. We are not interested in using ibogaine in our programme. Cheers, Amyra

hi Joshua, thanks for writing again. I respect the validity of many approaches and do not tout ‘our way’ as the only way to treat addiction. As you rightly say, they’re just different approaches. I never judged iboga to be “bad”; in fact I personally have an interest in learning more about the therapeutic values of such substances. I also know that at present, incorporating iboga into our programme is not something our centre wants to pursue. All the best, Amyra

I love the new profile picture Amyra, it has a very mystical and artistic element to it. I feel like your staring into my soul from a place of complete peace and harmony. Brilliant.

Amyra is an angel of thought and a present day gift to mankind. Your words are inspiring, soothing and enlightening. Your body renew classes live on within my soul and your genuine help in restoring me to a balanced existence is something I will always cherish. Thank you!

It would be an honor to work with you in creating a self-help video series or documentary of your philosophy…not to mention the Body Renew DVD collection.

Peace and tons of love from your Canadian fan!

i have to thank you, I was starting to feel a tad desperate in my quest for sobriety, after such a hard road my life is looking up and I choose now to go back to drinking??? WTF I came accross your site and found some answers to why I have been so crazy. I look forward to following your site, it has already helped me and offered me a tranquil place.

  • Amyra October 6, 2009 at 2:47 pm

    Hi Paris,

Do not give up. A suggestion: how about turning around from seeing it as a “quest for sobriety” to “rewarding yourself with the joys of living to your full potential”?

One denotes a hard climb with uncertain results, the other implies it is a choice, which puts the power back into you… distressingly hard work vs relaxed option.

    Blessings, Amyra

Amyra – happy new year to you – I hope it brings you the best ! Discovered and reading your blog – very interesting and well presented – I will keep checking in here for inspiration and ideas. I have been able to stay focused thanks to your help, and I am still on track with my healing process after three months have passed since we met – is it a short or a long time, I dont know, feels liek forever and yesterday at the same time. It feels better to be “me” than it did when I was in “the nebula” – so happy to have found my way out of the fog and into the light. Wishing you all the luck in the world – Daniel.

    • Amyra January 10, 2010 at 9:41 pm

A very happy new year to you too, Daniel. I am delighted to hear that you are in such a good space. Your courage and willingness to grow have certainly supported you in getting to where you are today, and if you continue to move in this track you will discover more and more of your magnificence… and life will reflect back that magnificence to you. Amyra

    Hi Amyra,

Very thoughtful and inspiring blog. I am an ex-pat living in Thailand and wondering about the possibilty of doing some work with you (Body Renew etc.). My question: do you do ‘private’ work with clients or do you work exclusively through the center(s) you are associted with? Any information appreciated, perhaps via email if appropriate. Thanks – John

  • Amyra August 20, 2010 at 12:14 pm

John, I currently only work from the centre. We have just moved to a bigger property on the island of Koh Chang; my busy schedule means that I will not be available for private work at this time. I may, however, plan to start giving private workshops again in the next few months. Will keep you posted.
    Blessings, Amyra
